All the organic
meats featured at Artamos Meats & Deli are free-range and raised
without hormones, antibiotics and steroids. In addition, the animals
are fed an all-organic vegetarian diet (no animal by-products),
which is particularly important.
Feedstock is grown organically with no synthetic fertilizers, no
chemical pesticides, and with biodiversity in mind. Organic feed
is not only eco-responsible, but one of the primary reasons for
the exceptional flavor and nutritional value of organic meats -
you are what you eat. Or in this case, you are what you eat, ate.
Organic beef, pork and chicken products are provided by co-ops of
small family farms or directly from the individual farm in Wisconsin,
Minnesota and Iowa.

About
the Owners
Jason and Eric are the co-owners of Artamos Specialty Meat &
Deli. Both received degrees in Biology and Wildlife Management from
UW-Stevens Point, with emphasis on grassland ecosystems. This academic
background inspired them to open a market that would provide quality,
healthy products that are good for your family and the environment.
